The Fiat 500 has been here in the UK since 2007, during that time it has won multiple awards including the "Car of The Year" accolade in 2008. As well as winning the hearts of private buyers the cheeky little Fiat has also won over business users. It has won BusinessCar magazine’s "City car of The Year" for the third time running.
The BusinessCar awards are decided by a panel of judges, the magazine’s readers and its website visitors. They were all very impressed once again with car’s unique looks, excellent running costs and brilliant residual values. The BusinessCar awards are a true reflection of the industry therefore are considered to be very coveted.
Paul Barker, editor of BusinessCar said, "Fiat's 500 has once more proved that business cars can make sense to both the head and the heart. The 500 has great residual values and running costs combined with the ability to put smiles on faces, making it the perfect city car for the corporate market, something BusinessCar readers obviously echo in voting the 500 City Car of the Year."
On receiving the award Andrew Humberstone, managing director of Fiat Group Automobiles UK and Ireland said, "Three consecutive awards and three consecutive wins in the City Car category - that's wonderful news and a great tribute to the Fiat 500, which continues to sell well both to private customers and into fleets. We will never tire of receiving awards for this remarkable car and this latest accolade from BusinessCar and its readers is very welcome."
The Fiat 500 is now available with Fiat’s revolutionary "TwinAir" two cylinder engines, further emphasising the little car’s economical credentials. The Fiat 500 TwinAir is available now at a
